1, Tower Street

This building, located at 1 Tower Street in Ludlow, is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped slate roof. The house stands three stories tall and has a three-window range. On the left side, there is an 8/8 sash window, while the right side includes early 19th century and late 19th century sash windows, along with an additional inserted light, all set beneath brick flat arches. Above these, there are two blocked openings, one containing a small light and the other a 3/6 sash window with a stone sill, both also under flat arches. The eaves are supported by wooden corbels.

The entrance features a four-panel door with an overlight to the left, set beneath a stone lintel. There is an early 20th century cross window with colored leaded lights to the left of the door, as well as a 20th century shop window. On the return to Bull Ring, there are two 8/8 sash windows under gauged brick flat arches and 4/8 sash windows with stone sills, also beneath gauged brick flat arches. The eaves again feature wooden corbels. The building includes a 20th century shopfront with a central door and a canted return to Tower Street, and it has a brick lateral stack.
