Description
27 Bell Lane is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys and a two-window range. To the right, there is a 3/6 sash window in a broad case, and to the left, an early 20th-century 6/6 sash window, both of which are fitted with wrought-iron guards. The central entrance consists of a 4-panel door topped by a round-headed plain overlight. To the right of the entrance, there is a 19th-century shop window with glazing bars above a panelled stallboard, all of which is sheltered by a moulded wood hood and fascia board supported on moulded consoles. To the left, the early 20th-century 6/6 sash window is set beneath a painted stone lintel.
