Description
Waterfields is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped composite tile roof with two brick ridge stacks. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with a three-window range that includes 8/8 sashes (with a 20th-century sash to the left) and a central 6/6 sash, all set beneath segmental arches. There are also 4/4 sashes and a central blind opening. The entrance consists of a 20th-century half-glazed door with a blocked overlight, situated under a 20th-century altered open pediment hood supported by panelled pilasters, flanked by 8/8 sashes under segmental arches.
To the right, there is a two-storey wing with a 20th-century 3/6 sash and a plank door beneath an open-pediment hood on enriched consoles. On the left side, there are two 20th-century 8/8 sashes, a late 19th-century stone canted bay window with plain sashes, and a plain sash with a stone case and hood. At the rear, the house features two brick bay windows and a cast-iron verandah.
