Description
No. 35 Bull Ring is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the late 18th century. The building features painted brick and timber-frame construction, topped with a 20th-century plain tile roof that has a gable at the front. It is a symmetrical three-storey structure with a two-window range, displaying 6/6 sash windows in beaded cases set under segmental arches, along with a storey band and 3/3 sash windows. A 20th-century bow shopfront is located to the left, providing an entrance. The left wall of the passage is made of brick and timber-frame, which includes a 20th-century blocked doorway and a moulded post. The rear elevation showcases 17th-century timber-frame work, mostly filled with 19th-century brick, and features 20th-century casements and sliding sash windows in the gable. There is also a 20th-century stack, a two-storey wing, a part timber-frame lean-to, and an additional wing made of brick and rubble with a timber-framed gable.
