Description
The building is a former house, now a laundrette, dated 1841 as indicated on the rainwater head at the rear. It has been altered in the late 20th century. Constructed of brick, the front is colourwashed and features a slate roof. The building has dentilled eaves and two gable stacks. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range. The front includes a central blank window flanked by single glazing bar sashes, with similar fenestration above featuring slightly smaller windows. The full-width late 20th-century brick shopfront has a central door and single flanking windows, topped with a 19th-century fascia cornice on brackets. The building is included for its group value.
