Description

This building is a launderette that was originally a house, dating from the 18th century with some alterations made in the 19th century. The walls are constructed of brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, topped by a tiled roof that features a low hipped extension at the rear. The west front elevation has two storeys and one window, which is a sash set in an exposed frame, located above a plain shop window. There is a plain doorway on the south side, adorned with a moulded pediment supported by carved brackets. At the rear, there are mid-19th century cast-iron 'Tudor' casement windows.
