Description

Vecks and Food Fayre is a house and shops located on the east side of High Street in Bishops Waltham. It dates from the 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The building features brick walls made of blue headers with red quoins and a rubbed flat arch. It has a tile roof with a narrow dentil eaves cornice and coupled hips at the rear. The west front elevation is two storeys high and has three windows, although the middle row is filled in. The first-floor windows are Victorian bays with cornices and coupled sashes, while the ground floor has plain shopfronts. The building is included for its group value.
