Description

J and P Mason is a house and shop located on the east side of High Street in Bishops Waltham. It dates from the 18th century but has undergone significant alterations in the 20th century. The building features walls made of brickwork with blue headers, red quoins, and bands, along with rubbed flat arches. It has a tile roof and a symmetrical west front elevation that is two storeys high with three windows. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames. The shopfront is a wide, plain, double-fronted design from the 20th century. This building is included for its group value context.
