Description

Frank Stubbs, Auctioneer is a former public house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the 18th century and includes some early 19th-century features. The front walls are made of stucco, while the other walls are painted brickwork in Flemish bond. The building has a hipped tile roof, with lower rear roofs that are both hipped and gabled. The west front is two storeys high and has three windows with sash frames. There is a 20th-century doorcase. The irregular rear extensions display vernacular features that are quite prominent.
