Description

Exchange Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century, originally part of the service wing of the adjacent St Peter's House. It was re-fenestrated in the 20th century. The cottage is constructed of painted brick with a tiled roof. It is one storey high with attics, featuring two windows on the ground floor and two gabled dormers with 20th-century casements containing leaded lights. The ground floor has two 20th-century casements with leaded lights, a chamfered corner leading to a carriage arch, and a plain doorcase. It represents a significant 18th-century service wing and retains strong group value with St Peter’s House.
