Description

This early 19th-century house, now a shop, is located on the north side of Lewes High Street. The building is stuccoed and has a hipped slate roof with a central dormer. It is three storeys high with an attic, featuring a three-window front. The windows are sash windows, with glazing bars only on the second floor. A wide shop front from the early 20th century occupies the ground floor on the left, with a double design and an inset glazed door to the left. An arched entrance with a panelled door is located to the right. A hanging sign bracket with scroll decoration projects from the centre of the building between the first and second floors. The building is included in the listing for its group value.
