Description

This early to mid-19th century house, now a shop, is located on the north side of High Street, Lewes. The building is stuccoed and features rusticated quoins and a decorative Greek key band. A deeply projecting stuccoed cornice and parapet top the slate roof, with a stack positioned behind the ridge on the right side. The house is three storeys high, with a two-window front. The windows are sash windows without glazing bars, each topped with a cornice head resting on small brackets. An early 20th century double shopfront is located on the right side, with a central glazed door. A panelled door with a transom light is on the far left.
