Description

This is a mid- to late 18th-century house, now used as a shop pair and offices. The exterior is stuccoed, with even quoins visible on the parapet, concealing the roof. The building is three storeys high and features a regular five-window front. It has glazing bar sash windows set within segment-headed reveals, surrounded by decorative mouldings and key blocks. The second-floor windows are blind and have been painted. A central entrance is framed by a Doric engaged-column surround topped with a triangular pediment. The arched entrance has panelled reveals, a wreathed fanlight, and a two-thirds glazed door behind it. 20th-century shop fronts have been inserted to the right and left, featuring inset central glazed doors, deep fascias, and blind boxes.
