Description

58 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century but was clad in the early to mid 19th century. The building is plastered and features a band above the first floor, along with a cornice with modillions at the top, which conceals the roof. It has three storeys, with two windows on the second floor that have sash windows in moulded surrounds. The first floor has a single window and a central canted bay. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front with double glazed doors to the left and a deep fascia board above. This building is included for its group value.
