Description

This is a mid-18th century pair of houses, later used as shops. The front is painted mathematical tile and features twin fluted pilasters that run from the first to the second floors. A thin, moulded cornice tops the slate roof, with a central brick stack. The building is three storeys high with a regular two-window front, featuring sash windows with glazing bars in moulded surrounds. The left-hand shop front dates to the late 19th century and includes a two-thirds glazed door. The right-hand shop front is from the 20th century, with a glazed door inset to the right.
