3 houses, latterly inn and shops, now 3 houses and shop. C17 with early- to mid-C19 refacing. Timber framed with painted brick nogging on rubblestone plinth, painted brick refacing to front, and plain tile roof. Probably 5 framed bays. 2 storeys. Brick ridge stack off-centre to left. Framing: square panels with long tension braces. 5 windows to first floor; glazing bar sashes. 3 mid-C19 former shop windows to left with thin wooden mullions and transoms, that to right with pilastered surround; mid-C19 half-glazed door between first and second windows from left with margin lights, 2 lower panels, and doorcase with pilaster strips, frieze and cornice-hood; door between second and third windows from left with 6 flush panels (top 4 glazed), and pilastered surround; late-C19 shop front to right with 2 plate glass windows flanking recessed half-glazed door off-centre to left. Late-C19 and C20 additions to rear at right. Interior: chamfered and stopped beams. This was formerly the Red Lion Inn.
