Description

28 and 30 Etnam Street are early 19th-century houses located in Leominster. They are constructed of brick and feature a Welsh slate roof with two distinct roof lines, a central brick ridge stack, and a stack at the rear. The buildings stand three storeys tall with a cellar and have a four-window range.

On the left side, there are two late 19th-century plain sash windows in broad cases with lined reveals, along with a plaster-blocked opening and a 6/6 sash window in a moulded case. The windows are topped with gauged brick flat arches that have stucco keyblocks. To the right, there is a 3/3 sash window with similar detailing.

The entrances are located on the left side. For No. 30, there is a six-panel door with a leaded overlight, set in panelled reveals and sheltered by a simple hood on plain pilasters. Next to it, a late 19th-century plain sash window is also in lined reveals and under a gauged brick flat arch with a stucco keyblock. For No. 28, there is a part-glazed six-panel door in panelled reveals, beneath a simple flat hood on panelled pilasters, and a 6/6 sash window in a moulded case under a painted gauged brick flat arch with a stucco keyblock.

The interiors have not been inspected. The lead rainwater goods are dated 1823, and the cellar flaps are attributed to C. Hodges of Ludlow, dated 1848.
