Description

This early 19th-century pair of houses stands on Etnam Street in Leominster. The buildings are constructed of brick with a shallow-pitched Welsh slate roof and feature two brick axial ridge stacks. They are three storeys high and have a two-window front. The upper floors contain 6/6 sash windows in broad, moulded surrounds with brick flat arches. The ground floor of number 26 has a 6-panel door in panelled reveals within a reeded doorcase topped with a simple flat hood. It also features an early 20th-century shop window with chamfered glazing shafts and an enriched head, beneath a fascia board and moulded hood. Number 24 has a 20th-century entrance door within panelled reveals, alongside a matching 6/6 sash window under a brick flat arch, and a matching doorcase with a moulded wood hood on fluted pilasters. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
