Description
32 Etnam Street is a house that has been converted into flats, dating from the early 19th century. The building features a stucco exterior, with rustication on the ground floor, and a steep-pitched Welsh slate roof on the right side. There is a brick stack located at the right rear. The structure appears to be an amalgamation and refronting of a two-unit plan.
It stands three storeys high and has a four-window range, with 6/6 sash windows set in moulded stucco architraves. A panelled storey band runs along the building, and there are also 3/3 sash windows present. The top of the building is adorned with a moulded stone cornice that leads to a tile-coped parapet.
The central entrance features a six-moulded-panel door with a swagged fanlight, all under a moulded semicircular architrave supported by plain pilasters. To the left of the entrance, there is a 6/6 sash window and a smaller 6/6 sash window set in a recessed panel. To the right, there are two additional 6/6 sash windows. The building also has a moulded plinth at the base. The right side of the building shows early 19th-century brickwork at the gable and a returned cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
