Description
36 and 38 Etnam Street are two houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof and feature brick axial ridge stacks. The buildings are three storeys tall with a cellar and have a five-window range, with the centre blocked. The windows include 6/6 sashes in moulded cases under segmental arches and 3/6 sashes in moulded cases, along with brick modillion eaves. There are central paired entrances with three-moulded-panel doors that have a Greek key motif, and margin-glazed overlights beneath an entablature with guttae, supported by Tuscan pilasters. The buildings also have four 6/6 sashes under segmental arches and an ashlar plinth. The interiors have not been inspected.
