Description
46 Etnam Street is a house that has been converted into sheltered housing. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is constructed of brick with a twin-span hipped roof covered in Welsh slate. The building has three storeys and likely a cellar, featuring a three-window range with 6/6 sash windows under gauged brick flat arches, although there are also 20th-century plain sashes. The eaves are adorned with brick modillion detailing.
The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a "Gothick" glazed fanlight, all set within a moulded case. This is further enhanced by a moulded wood open-pediment hood supported by Tuscan pilasters, with entablature blocks that include triglyphs. The house is flanked by additional 6/6 sash windows under gauged brick flat arches. There is a partly demolished range to the left of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
