Description
The Manse and attached outbuildings, known as Marlow's Court, were built around 1771. This house is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a gable on the left side and a brick end stack at the rear. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window arrangement that includes a central 6/6 sash window and paired 6/6 sashes, all set under segmental arches. There is a metal casement window in the gable, brick modillion eaves, and a box-dormer. The central entrance has sidelights and features an early 20th-century six-panel door with a fanlight, all under a moulded and modillioned wood open-pediment hood supported by scrolled consoles. The entrance is flanked by paired 6/6 sash windows under segmental arches. The left side of the building has a 6/6 sash window set in 20th-century brickwork on the ground floor. The outbuildings are located to the right of the main house. The interior has not been inspected. Marlow's Court was originally built as a Manse, Chapel, and almshouses.
