Description
1 and 2 Marlow's Court are cottages built around 1771, located on Etna Street in Leominster. They are constructed of brick and feature a plain tile roof with brick-coped gable parapets and two brick axial stacks at the rear. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have a three-window range, displaying 6/6 sash windows in broad cases beneath a modillioned brick band at the eaves. The central entrance includes a part-glazed six-panel door with an overlight featuring glazing bars, all sheltered by a wooden flat hood supported by scrolled brackets. On the right side, there is a tier of 6/6 sash windows in broad cases set under segmental arches, along with a casement window in the gable. The left side has a stepped wall with three blind openings and a central plank door, also under segmental arches. Marlow's Court was originally built as a manse, chapel, and almshouses.
