Description

A house, dating from the 16th century, was altered in the 18th century and subsequently. It is now divided into cottages. The structure is timber-framed and plaster-clad, with a plain tile roof featuring a gable facing the street on the left side and a Welsh slate roof; a brick stack is visible at the front left, and a brick ridge stack rises from the centre.

The house is two storeys high, presenting a three-window facade. It incorporates 19th-century 2-light casement windows, and a 12/12 sliding sash window on the right side. Each window is covered by a simple hood. The gable features a 19th or 20th-century bargeboard with cusped detailing, pierced elements, and a pendant finial. A plank door and a 20th-century door are positioned on the left, with the latter revealing a chamfered ceiling beam and a boarded soffit to a jetty; a 20th-century canted light is also present. Another entrance features a 20th-century plank door with a cambered head and coloured glass, alongside a 12/12 sliding sash window and a 20th-century plank door under a jetty, all set under hoods.

The right-hand return side reveals a jetty supported on a curved brace, along with an altered roof pitch. The rear displays a 19th-century brick wing, and at No.63, a roughcast gable with a 4/4 sliding sash window above a 3-light casement window.

The interiors have not been inspected. An altered front roof-pitch is present.
