Description
No. 87 Etnam Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling, dating from the early 19th century. The building features rusticated stucco on the ground floor and render above, topped with a Welsh slate roof and a reduced stack.
It stands three storeys high and has a two-window range, with 6/6 sash windows in beaded cases and 3/3 sashes. The entrance is located to the left and consists of a four-moulded-panel door set back in panelled reveals, topped with a moulded wood flat hood supported by pilasters. There is a 6/6 sash window, and a 20th-century shop front with recessed margin-glazed double doors situated between windows that have moulded glazing bars, all beneath a moulded fascia-board and hood, supported by fluted pilasters. The right side of the building features rusticated stucco on the ground floor and a tier of 20th-century sashes. There is a wing at the rear with a reduced end stack.
The interior has not been inspected.
