Description

Willow Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with 20th-century alterations and additions. It is timber-framed with rendered infill, a sandstone plinth, and later brick additions, topped with a slate roof. The building has two framed bays aligned north to south, with the entrance located on the north side of a rear 20th-century addition and a stack at the south gable end. It is a single storey with an attic, featuring two 20th-century flat-roofed dormers that contain 3-light 20th-century windows. On the ground floor, there are two pairs of 2-light casement windows set within square panelled framing. The framing appears largely intact, with three square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, and V-struts in the gable.
