Description

Milepost located on the south side of the B4224 in Hampton Bishop, dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features an angular head. The upper triangular section is inscribed with "Hampton Bishop Parish," while the lower left division indicates "To Hereford 3 miles" and the lower right division states "To Glo'ster 23 miles."
