Description
This is a mid-19th century milepost made of cast iron. It has an angular head divided into three sections. The upper triangular part displays the words "Fownhope Parish," while the lower divisions indicate the distances: "To Gloster 19 miles" on the left and "To Hereford 7 miles" on the right.
