Description
Nash Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, possibly incorporating an earlier core. The building features sandstone rubble at the rear and has undergone brick remodelling, topped with a hipped slate roof. It has an irregular plan with a single depth main house that has an entrance to the left of centre and end stacks. A further wing made of sandstone extends to the rear, alongside a brick service wing to the left.
The main house is three storeys high, while the service wing is two storeys. The main house has a central pedimented section that slightly projects forward, with a continuous dentilled eaves cornice. It features a symmetrical arrangement of windows with a 1:1:1 configuration, consisting of glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The central bay has tripartite windows, with decorative glazing in the central third-floor window. The doorway, located left of centre, has a pedimented canopy and a recessed six-panelled door. The service wing to the left has a central entrance flanked by two pairs of windows with segmental heads, with alterations made to the left side on the ground floor.
