Description
This is a mid-19th century milepost located on the south side of the B 4224 in Hampton Bishop. It is made of cast iron and features an angular head. The upper triangular section is inscribed with "Hampton Bishop Parish," while the lower division indicates distances, stating "To Hereford 4 miles" and "To Glo'ster 22 miles" in the lower right corner.
