Description

The Mill is a house that possibly dates back to the 17th century and was remodeled in the early 19th century. It features a timber frame with sections of brick and sandstone rubble refacing, painted brick infill, a sandstone plinth, and render on the east front, topped with a slate roof. The building has four framed bays that are aligned north to south, with the entrance located on the east side. There is a large external chimney stack on the south gable end and another stack on the north gable end, along with additional structures added to both the north and south. The house is two storeys tall, with the east front displaying three 2-light casement windows. The ground floor has similar glazing bar casements flanking a central entrance, which features a gabled canopy and a ledged door.
