Description
Ladygrove is a house located in Fownhope, likely built in the 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with painted brick infill, a sandstone plinth, and a brick stack on the east gable end, topped with a tiled roof. The building consists of two framed bays, with an outshut at the rear and an adjoining outhouse of two additional bays to the west. The central entrance is flanked by 2-light glazing bar casements and leads to a gabled porch with a ledged door. The attic is gable-lit, and the light framing is largely intact, consisting of three square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate.
