Description

Woodshoot Cottage is a house that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the 20th century. It features a timber-framed structure with rendered infill, a sandstone plinth, and a stack, topped with a slate roof. The building consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west and face south, with an east gable end stack. The entrance is located through a 20th-century addition at the rear. The cottage is single storey with an attic, which includes two gabled dormers that have 2-light casement windows. Below these, there are three irregularly spaced windows: one 6-pane window and a 3-light casement window to the left, and a 2-light casement window to the right.
