Description
The Old Rectory and The Mews are a former rectory, now divided into two separate dwellings, dating from the 18th century with 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of brick with a hipped roof covered in 20th-century concrete tiles. It is two rooms deep and includes a service wing extending to the north, which now functions as a separate dwelling. Brick end stacks are present.
The west front features a central forward projection, displaying a 2:1:2 window arrangement. The glazing bar sash windows have flat arches to the outer bays and segmental heads to the central bay, all with pronounced and decorative keystones. Steps lead up to the central entrance, which has a semi-circular-headed doorway, a plain fanlight, and a panelled door. To the left of the main house is a one-bay three-storey service wing and the remainder of a two-storey service wing, both with 20th-century glazing bar casement windows. The building has three storeys and a cellar. The interior has not been inspected.
