Description

Rose Cottage is a house that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and 20th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and rendered infill, topped with a tile roof. The building consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west and features gable-end stacks.

The north front of the cottage has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by two gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, each with plank weatherings. The central entrance is accentuated by a gabled porch from the 20th century, which has glazed doors. The framing of the house includes three square panels that are high, raised by a small rectangular panel.
