Description

The Cotts is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill, a sandstone plinth, and stacks with brick shafts, topped by a thatched roof. The building has two framed bays arranged east to west, facing south, with a central entrance and end stacks, along with a later rear extension. It stands two storeys high and has two 2-light glazing bar casements. The thatched porch includes a ledged door. The framing is largely intact, although some parts have been renewed.
