Description

The churchyard cross, dating from the 14th century, is located in Hampton Bishop. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features an octagonal stepped plinth with a square base that has chamfered corners. There is a niche in the projection of the west face. The shaft of the cross is also octagonal and is topped with a cross that was added in the 19th century.
