Description
No 4 Hill House is a house built in the late 18th century, with early 19th century additions. It is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof with one brick gable stack. The front of the house has three bays and is two stories high. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with an overlight, framed by a moulded wooden surround and topped with a flat hood supported by consoles. To the left, there is an early 19th century canted bay window with fixed glazing bar lights, a dentillated frieze, and a lead roof. To the right, there is a single glazing bar sash window with a flat rubbed brick arch, and beyond that, a blocked doorway. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows, each with flat rubbed brick arches.
