Description
Sutton House is a house built in the early 19th century, with later 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with stone-coped gables and brick gable stacks. The building stands 2½ storeys tall and has a three-bay front. The central doorway is framed by a plain moulded doorcase with ornate brackets, a plain rectangular overlight, a small hood, and a two-panelled wood door. On either side of the doorway are later 19th-century splayed bay windows, each containing three sash windows, with the central window featuring margin lights. Above the bay windows, there are three glazing bar sashes with painted brick splayed lintels, and smaller glazing bar sashes above, which also have similar lintels.
