Description
Elm Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble with ashlar dressings, red brick, and features a pantile roof with coped gables and two brick ridge stacks. The building has three storeys and a three-bay front, which was heightened in the 19th century. It has quoins and a central doorway that features a serpentine lintel with a raised keystone and a panelled door. On either side of the doorway are single three-light mullion windows with moulded cornices. Above the door, there is a cross mullion wood casement window with a segmental head and a serpentine stone lintel with a raised keystone. A similar window is located to the north, with a casement above it.
