Description

No. 37 Pond Street is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with red brick accents and features a pantile roof that has a single brick stack on the north side and a red brick gable below. The cottage has a two-storey, three-bay front. The central doorway is fitted with a plank door and a wooden lintel, and it is flanked by single sliding sash windows. Above, there are two additional sliding sash windows. There is a 20th-century extension to the south.
