Description

No. 13 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble, with some red brick, and features a pantile roof with red brick tumbled gables and gable stacks. The building is single storey with an attic and has a three-bay front. The central doorway has an overlight and a partially glazed door, flanked by two single three-light casement windows. All openings are topped with wooden lintels. There are two raking dormers, each with two-light sliding sashes. A 20th-century stock brick extension at the rear is of no interest.
