Description
No. 41 High Street is a farmhouse, now a house, built in 1744 with 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a pantile roof with stone-coped gables. It has a two-storey and attic structure with a three-bay front. The central doorway has a wooden lintel and a plank door, flanked by single three-light sliding sash windows. Above, there are two two-light sliding sash windows, all with wooden lintels. A round plaque on the south gable is inscribed with "R E. Callis 1744". On the west side, there are two three-light 20th-century casement windows, with two similar windows above, all featuring wooden lintels.
