Description

No. 46 is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick and covered with red pantiles. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath flat rubbed brick arches. The first floor also has two sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance is framed by a wooden doorcase that has a lugged architrave, a bolection frieze, and a pediment. The entrance door itself is a six-panel design, with the uppermost panels being glazed. The house has a dentil eaves cornice and an outshut at the rear, which includes two stacks. Additionally, there is a single-storey lean-to that is also made of brick and pantiles, featuring a two-light casement window on the west side.
