Description

Whitehouse Farm House and Barn is an early to mid-18th century farmhouse with a barn attached to the west. The farmhouse is rendered with whitewashed brick and has a red pantile roof. It is two storeys high, with two bays, and includes attics. The east gable has four small windows, suggesting a possible earlier build date. The north front features two ground-floor and two first-floor sash windows with glazing bars. A central four-panel door was added in the 20th century. There is one attic dormer with a two-light casement window featuring lead glazing bars. Brick stacks are located at each end, with an east stack having a brick-coped gable. The attached barn to the west is a three-bay threshing barn with central cart doors extending to the eaves. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and has a red pantiled roof.
