Description

A pair of early 19th-century houses, now a bakery. The building is of red brick with a concrete tiled roof and gable stacks. It is two and a half storeys high, with a three-bay front. The central façade features two closely set, semi-circular headed doorways; the southern doorway is blocked, and the northern doorway has a plain wood door with a rectangular glass pane towards the top. Single windows flank the doorways. Above the doorways, a single blocked rectangular opening is flanked by single windows. Above this, a smaller blocked rectangular opening is flanked by single windows. All the windows have margin light sashes, and the lower four have segmental heads. To the left is a later addition with a round-headed doorway containing a plank door and overlight, and a single glazing bar sash to each floor; the top window is now boarded. Further to the left is a lower, gabled bakery wing with a pantile roof, featuring a single plank door, a single glazing bar sash, and above, a small boarded window. All these openings have segment heads.
