Description
The building is a 1729 bakery, now used as a private house, located on Church Green in Old Buckenham. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with a black glazed pantile roof. The two storeys are separated by a flat brick string course. A central doorway is flanked to the left by a 19th-century shop front, both sharing the same cornice. There is a sash window to the right of the door, and three sash windows on the first floor. The gabled roof has a west gable stack. The gables feature tumbling, and there is a low parapet on kneelers. An attached lower range of two storeys abuts to the east; this was originally a granary, featuring a first-floor door, two casement windows, and a gabled roof.
