Description

The Thatched Cottage is a house dating from around 1700. It is timber framed with rendered wattle and daub and features a thatched roof. The building has two storeys set on a brick plinth. There is a door on the right side and four ground floor casement windows from the 18th or early 19th century. The first floor has four similar windows located under the eaves. The gabled roof has a rebuilt ridge stack positioned to the left of the center. An outshut extends from the east gable, covered with a pantiled roof and featuring 20th-century windows. There is also a one-storey gabled and pantiled extension to the west from the 19th century, which is not included in the listing.
