Description

This is a house located at the north-west corner of Church Green in Old Buckenham, dating from the early 18th century but refronted in the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. The entrance consists of a panelled door set within a 20th-century porch. On either side of the door, there are sash windows beneath rendered skewback arches, which include glazing bars. The first floor has two similar sash windows next to a blank window bay. A flat brick string course runs along the first and second floors, topped by a parapet with a dentilled timber cornice. The gabled roof is situated between the parapets and features a pedimented dormer with paired sash windows.

At the rear, there is a 1½ storey section with 20th-century casement windows beneath a catslide roof, and gable parapets with kneelers. The roof slope has two rebuilt stacks. To the north, there are outbuildings that have been converted into a separate house in a T plan, dating from the mid-18th century. This structure also has two storeys and gabled pantiled roofs, with two gabled dormers in the north roof slope. All windows in this building are from the 20th century, and there is tumbling in the east gable head.
