Description

Longcroft is a cottage dating from the mid 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed coursed ironstone rubble, with some red brick, and features a pantile gambrel roof that has brick gable stacks and two 20th-century dormers with casement windows. The building has one storey and an attic, with irregular window placements. On the east side, there is a deep set casement window with a wooden lintel, while on the west side, a narrow 20th-century light has been inserted, featuring a 20th-century plate glass window with an older wooden lintel beyond it. The doorway is located at the rear of the cottage.
